Arahoe's Telling Tales

Seven dwarves, three little pigs and one big giant all feature in the Arahoe School production from September 11 to 13.

Telling Tales, written by teacher Vanessa Henderson, is a series of short stories - " giving fairytale characters a chance to share their side of the story," she says.

It also includes performances by the school's kapa haka and Indian groups.

Every child who auditioned got a part, acting, dancing, singing or working back stage.

"It's great fun and the kids are really good and all pretty focused," Ms Henderson says.

Teachers and parents have also been helping with the sets and costumes.

The show starts at 7pm and bookings can be made at the school office.
