Peninsula students tackle challenges head on

Its hard work getting to be a house leader at Peninsula Primary School.

The 10 to 12-year-olds <SUBS TICK> must first prove themselves during day of kayaking, climbing, bike riding, orienteering and archery.

The annual exercise teaches leadership skills and promotes teamwork.

"It's a confidence building experience," teacher Pops Huri says. "They have fun and enjoy it," says.

The activities are run by the Bigfoot Adventures outdoor instruction organisation.
