Mural brightens up Marina View

A colourful welcome awaits visitors at the Marina View School.

A mural, painted by a professional artist, depicts children from a range of cultures doing various activities.

Principal Maurice Young says the art is intended to make people feel good as they enter.

"It's showing that school is a more exciting place to be."

The mural is not the only project designed to brighten up the school.

Mr Young says students have been doing mosaics and are involved in a project creating figures to put on the fenceline.
