Botanical highlight: The award-winning Landsendt property at Oratia is one of sixteen gardens showcased at the upcoming 'Ranges Garden and Art Ramble'.
The Ranges Garden and Art Ramble is back by popular demand. The event is organised by the Kaurilands School and includes 16 gardens and a vineyard around Glen Eden, New Lynn, Oratia and Titirangi.
It will be held - rain or shine - on November 11 from 10am to 4pm.
Work by various artists and sculptors will be exhibited along the way.
"As with our 2004 Garden Ramble, we have assembled an eclectic mix of gardens - from popular lush subtropicals to natives and more traditional styles," co-organiser Gillian Howard says. "This year we also have a focus on local art, profiling up to a dozen artists at various gardens with sculptures featured at Landsendt in Oratia.
"All proceeds will benefit Kaurilands School.
Tickets cost $15 .Information, Leanne Mete, phone:836-9093 or email makonz@xtra.co.nz.
