A one-stop shop for people wanting find out about learning opportunities in Waitakere City is now available.
The new Adult and Community Education Space organisation in Henderson offers a range of free services and advice and is partly funded through the Waitakere Licensing Trusts and Lotteries Grants.
Co-ordinator Diane Goodley says it is geared up for people who may not be comfortable with bigger venues.
She says they can come and talk one-on-one in their cosy area and use their facilities.
Customers have so far included mums heading back into the workforce, students in between courses or jobs and people with limited English skills.
The organisation has a close relationship with various community groups including the Waitakere Central library and Unitec.
It is based at shop 4, The Colonnade, 12 Railside Ave and open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
