Storyfest at Lone Kauri school

Fairytale giant: Pupils at the Lone Kauri Community School with their contribution for this year's giant Storyfest. 

Giants, fairies, clowns and puppets will be on show at this year's Storyfest event.

The annual exercise will be held on September 22 at the Kelston Community Centre and will include art work by children from seven schools around Waitakere city.

Pupils at Lone Kauri School are among those working hard to finish in time and have made a huge colourful giant.

Storyfest will include performances, storytelling, workshops and nature displays.

Doors open at 10am.
